Seriously Bad Period Pains.. Any Ways To Relieve Them?!

Question: I Would prefer home methods

Answers: I Would prefer home methods

I get terrible cramps, and only a few things can help me.

*Take a warm bath, and just read in it and relax
*Put a hot water bottle, or heating pack on the area.
*Excersize, even if its the last thing you want to do, it helps the pains and gets your mind off of it.
*Chocolate helps me, along with a chick flick, and some good friends!

Ummm... I don't really know of any home methods, but Ibuprofen, Advil or Asprin help the pains. You can always try Midol.

take midol or extra strength tylenol. and you could use a heating pad for lower back pains and cramps.

take to Tylenol and go take a nice hot shower and then soak in the tub for a little while and they will go away after you get out put a heating pad on your tummy and that will help to

i had them yesterday and i felt like criing

I know it might not sound appealing but I've always found exercise to help... running especially, perhaps the endorphin release from runner's high.

Otherwise, try using a hot compress on your lower abdomen.

Advil or Midol

i always fill a water bottle with hot water and wrap it in a thin cloth and lay it on your stomach..the warmth will help a lot,...it may take a few min. but leave it there and ur pains will ease up..ive been in your shoes before!!

I used to have the same problem. I don't know how old you are but taking birth control helps a lot. Talk with your health care provider. Also you should exercise and drink plenty of water.

i've heard taking vitamin e a day or two before your period helps. I use to get horrible cramps, and everyone told me to exercise, but that's the last thing on your mind when you feel like you want to just pass out. the trick is to regularly exercise, not just during your period. now since i've been on a regular exercise regime, eating better and taking daily vitamins...they are barely there.
