Sounds like a bacterial infection...Does it smell fishy after sex? You need to be seen Hope this info helps...
.
Once you start puberty a white and/or clear, non-foul smelling discharge (mucous) is normal. The vagina is self-cleaning. You will also have your own 'scent' (musky) and it will smell stronger to you than to others.

This same discharge increases the closer you get to ovulation and when you are sexually aroused. Trust me, you don't ever want it to go away. If it's drying yellow, it's fine. If it's coming out yellow you could have a bacterial infection.

Different Types of Discharge:

White: Thick, white discharge is common at the beginning and end of your cycle. Normal white discharge is not accompanied by itching. If itching is present, thick white discharge can indicate a yeast infection.

Clear and stretchy: This is "fertile" mucous and means you are ovulating.

Clear and watery: This occurs at different times of your cycle and can be particularly heavy after exercising.

Yellow or Green: May indicate an infection, especially if thick or clumpy like cottage cheese or has a foul odor.

Brown: May happen right after periods, and is just "cleaning out" your vagina. Old blood looks brown.

Different types of infections:

Signs of yeast infections:
White, cottage cheese-like discharge
Swelling and pain around the vulva
Intense itching

Signs of bacterial vaginosis:
A white, gray or yellowish vaginal discharge
A fishy odor that is strongest after sex or after washing with soap
Itching or burning
Slight redness and swelling of the vagina or vulva

Signs of trichomoniasis
A watery, yellowish or greenish bubbly discharge
An unpleasant odor
Pain and itching when urinating
Most apparent after your period

Well, it depends on how often you have this type of discharge.
If it happens more than once you may have a type of infection, or possibly an STD,
for right now its probably just your body cleaning out all the bacteria thats up inside there, which happens and is perfectly normal, but if it continues to happen, call your doctor and make an appointment.
good luck =)

Discharge is normal. Strong smell, not so much. I'd recommend a trip to the doctor if it lasts more than a day or so. The other option is to get one of the vaginal screening kits from the drugstore to see if that shows you anything. If it leans towards bacterial infection, then you def. need to see the dr.

Sounds like it is possible that you might have a yeast infection. I would go to the doctor and have it checked out.
