Menstrual Question ( LADIES ONLY)?!


Question: Am 21 and i didnt get my first period until i was 18 yeah slow.. had my son at 19, and know my period is all screwd up til am to the point of going crazy .. i havent had a period in over a year this one is my second one of this year and my last one lasted almost 2 months and the way it looks this one is going to be the same way and i am worried that there is something wrong i went to the doctor for the last one that lasted almost 2 months and they said my Iron was low and what not so i went on and knw again this one is heavy as crap and i cant take it any more.. should i go back to the doctors again and tell them the same thing is happing cause am to the point to where i think i cant get pregant any more cause we have tried and nothing has happen and my son is 2 now so i was thinking maybe this is tell me that something is wrong HELP !!!

are you seeing a gynecologist or your primary care physician for this? because this is an issue that needs to be dealt with correctly, and soon. low iron would not cause the excess bleeding; the excess bleeding causes (or worsens) the low iron. you need to go back to the doctor (gynecologist specifically), and if they don't do everything in their power to find out the source of this issue, then you need to seek a second opinion.

A lot of women have irregular periods. I would recommend birth control pills because they will help regulate your period,, but if you are trying to get pregnant that won't help.
You should definately go back to the gyno. Tell him/her that you are wanting to have more kids and the irregularity of your periods are very bothersome. The doctor will definitely have some options for you.
