DESPERATE! Question about a woman's cycle and risk of pregnancy! HELP!?!

Question: My partner and i recently found out the hard way that when one condom in a box is bad, to throw out the box and buy a new one because the likelihood of the remaining condoms being good is slim to none.

We had intercourse on the first day of her period (before it actually started) and the condom broke but most of the semen came out with the broken condom. Risky business i know.

We also had sex today and the condom broke. We only realized this after we had finished. At that point we tossed the whole box.

My girlfriend is on birth control and today's intercourse marked the first day of going back on the non-placebo pills.

We try our best to stay safe and avoid risky situations but as you can see I'm currently in a state of mild despair.

My question is, taking into account that my girlfriend is currently on birth control but also considering the risky time the condoms decided to break, do you think we have anything to worry about in terms of her getting pregnant?

I think you're fine. If she's taken all her bc pills, at roughly the same time each day, isn't taking any other medication, didn't vomit any of them up, and has been on them for at least a month, then you've got 99.9% protection right there. This applies for every time of the month no matter if she's taking placebo pills or not. So if she's on the pill no time of the month is riskier than another time. Condoms help keep it a little bit safer, but the pill by itself is a very good method if she's taking it right and many people rely on that alone. You should be covered for your accidents, try and get better condoms in future.

I wouldn't recommend taking the morning after pill if she's already on birth control, but if you're really worried she can speak to a doctor or pharmacist about this.

take the emergency contraceptive pill. When its effective if taken withing 72 hrs or so of unprotected sex or in situation like yrs. I hope everything will be fine.

If she has been taking her pills religiously, there is a 99.5% chance she is not pregnant. From what I was told, you are covered all throughout the cycle, not just when the hormonal pills are taken.
Yes, that is a very scary situation, but luckily, you both were responsible and were using a backup method. Congrats to you.
Again, I think the probability would be very low. If you are still scared, I would take the morning-after pill.

Good luck to the both of you!!

Have her go to the local Planned Parenthood and get the day after pill just in case. But that's not to say that it'll work. Keep your fingers crossed. My best friend tried to stay as safe as you guys but it didn't work. Her twin boys and her daughter were all concieved on the birth control pill, day after pill, spermicide stuff and condoms. But she was kind of lucky because she was married and her husband wanted to have kids.

NOTHING is 100% except for abstinence.

Birth control/condom combos are ONLY 99% effective.
