Does your husband go with you to the gyno?!

Question: and is he in the exam room while you are getting your pap smear?... and did you ask him to come into the room with you?

Answers: and is he in the exam room while you are getting your pap smear?... and did you ask him to come into the room with you?

no he's never been with me. i think he would it's just that i've always gone during work hours and he's still at work. no way i want him in the room with me while i'm getting a pap smear because there is no reason for him to be and i think it would look odd to my doctor. the rooms aren't huge as it is. other than not seeing a reason to have him in the room, it wouldn't embarrass me or anything. i think he would feel weird though, hhaa

edit: he just reminded me of a time he went with me during a tornado warning in our city. i was too scared to drive alone but didn't want to reschedule since it takes months to get an apt!

No, well, I don't have a gyno, but for now our family doctor does it. So, my husband trusts him.

I don't have a husband yet, but if I did, he would NOT go with me to the gyno. Besides, there is always a nurse in there with us, so what would be the point?

No, there are somthings a man just leaves a women to get done her self while he patiently sits in the waiting room admiring the finer things in life while he munches a snickers

no how stupid. why would he want to and why would you wany him to? if you do you definitely have some insecurity issues. grow up!

I don't have a husband but if I did, I wouldn't make him suffer through it and if he wanted to go for support, I'd forbid him.

No way! That's a little too up close & personal for me.

No, he usually doesn't come with me for regular check ups, but he came to some of my OB appointments when I was pregnant. Men can come and they can come back with you, but most women choose to go alone. This way you can have private 1 on 1 discussions with your doctor.

No - he does not go with me. There are some things that are not meant to be shared.
