Puberty question (woman/girls) only please)?!
Question: well, i just started I THINK wearing a real bra last summer, and well I just realized before I could lay on my chest without any feeling from my breasts, and if i got hit there it wouldnt hurt. Now I can't lay on my chest without me feeling my breasts are there, and its uncomfortable, if i got poked, hit, or touched there it hurts, or i feel it. The nipple part is a bit bigger now, like it spread out in a way, and I see tiny hairs around it. I got taller now, i see hair on my legs, more on my knees, and short hairs on my thighs. I get small pimples. rarely though. ummm, when i see my underwear when i go for a shower, it might be discharge, im not sure, but by the time i see it, it dried and harden up on my underwear. I scratched it off, and it was white when I scratched it off. Soo are these signs I will be getting my period soon?, and umm am i expecting anymore surpirses XD

Your breasts sometimes get very sore while developing. It also happens sometimes before any women gets their period. Mine hurt for the day before.
Your nipples/areola (darker skin around the nipple) grow with the rest of you, so they will get bigger. I believe that most women have some sort of hair around their nipples, sometimes light, sometimes dark.
Growing taller and growing body hair is also normal, eventually it will get darker and thicker. WARNING: Each time you shave it, it grows back thicker and darker. So be careful with that.
Vaginal discharge (the white stuff on your underwear) happens throughout a women's cycle. Generally, the closer you get to the part of the cycle where you have your period, the discharge gets thicker or a little bit darker, more yellowish sometimes. It normally washes out of your underwear fine, but some people like to wear panty-liners to protect them. Sometimes without them you get a little discoloration in the crotch of your underwear.
These are all signs pointing to your period, but nobody can say exactly when it will come. It's different for everyone. Keep an eye open for it, but it may not come for quite some time. When you get it at first, it might just be a very very little bit.
Something else to be aware of; it takes a long time for your period to regulate (come around the same time every month, the heaviness of your flow, how long it lasts, etc)
My first period was really really light, lasted for about 3-4 days, and the next time I got it was 7 months later.
I recommend starting with pads, as opposed to tampons. Wait until you're more developed to start using them, as it will be easier & more comfortable to use them.
You might start sweating more, or having more body odor. Start using deodorant or an antiperspirant, if you don't already. Shower at least every other day, if not daily.
When washing your vaginal area, don't use a scented soap. Contrary to popular belief, they actually make you smell worse down there. They can also cause infections. Make sure you rinse very well after washing, and always go front to back to avoid other infections. (also do this when wiping yourself after using the bathroom)

discharge starts about 2 months or so before your period - it varies though. yeah, usually it means you are about to start.

yeah, it is discharge, and you probably will get your period soon.you should check out beinggirl.com.this site helped me a lot when i started my period.
Yes white stuff on your underwear that is a singn of period but if your not that sure about it please contact your local clinic and ask there and they will talk you through it .

yes it could be a sign when i first got mine which when i was eleven i am thirteen now my breasts was hurting like that and i had a discharge like that
