I got all three gardisil shots.
It PREVENTS cervical cancer.
Whoever is telling you that is really dumb. Something like that would have been all over the news already if it were uneffective and life threatening.
you can die by walking in the street. if it was that dangerous do you think drs would reccomend it.....no....
im sure more people have not died than died, but yeah, people have died after getting it

Highly suggest it... i got it myself. And as for dying from it I haven't heard that. But you can die from getting a flu shot and people still get those. I mean the risk is probably so low and it probably only effects certain types of people. Your doctor won't let you get it if there is a high risk of you getting sick. Plus what's worse a little shot or cervical cancer?

I don't think you can die from it. I wouldn't suggest giving it to children if you have any. There are 40 different types of HPV and the shot only protects against 4. It is also a new shot and they do not know the lond term affects of the shot. Some people have died from the shots but your still alive so i souldn't worry.

I don't recommend it to anyone.. there are many people working on similar vaccines, and gardasil simply rushed to come out first so that they could get the most profit. Who knows what could have gone wrong? Plus, there haven't been any long-term studies, and until that happens, I'd rather risk it.
Yes there have been reported cases of death and severe reactions. If you haven't had problems yet then you might be fine. You should research it a little more before getting any vaccine. I'm not getting it because there hasn't been enough research done on it. They don't know how long the vaccine will last, when you'll need boosters, how it effects you later in life and if it effects ability to get pregnant. They've also found that it can cause severe reactions in some girls including becoming temporary paralyzed.
