Post appenidx surgery need HELP`?!


Question: i was wondering if anyone had any pointers i had my appendix taken out monday also the pain meds arnt really enough i no the docters say take then for 2 day every 4 hours they ease off of them but it hurts sooo much the 2 little cuts are fine the big one in my belly button hurts ALOOTTT and i have been wiping small amount of liquid-ish off it like with the tip of a q-tip .. i wanted to no if it is uncommon to not be able to go .. also ammont of pain and when after it did you go back to school/work .. how long after could you go back to gym class ..

also some facts about my surgery .. they had an extremly hard time getting into my belly button.. im 16 it was done at the childern hospital .. when the removed the appendix it was not due to appenditous .. when they removed the appendix it was cause of pain that they didnt no what the casue of was (did anyone eles have that) .. thanks

My daughter had her appendix out under emergency surgery, plus she was eight weeks pregnant! She was very sore the two days after her surgery, but eventually the pain began to subside, her bellybutton incision gave her the most pain also, and she was off work for two weeks and had light duty for another two weeks, Don't try and rush your recovery, everyone reacts to surgeries differently, get lots of rest and let your body heal.( By the way seven months after her surgery my grandson Joey was born weighing almost ten pounds and as healthy as can be.)
