I think I'm getting sick, what can I do?!


Question: I have been throwing all morning. I can't eat anything. My friend cooked me lunch and just the smell made me sick. What can I do? I have a headache right now and my back hurts.

Oh dear, it sounds like you have a very nasty stomach flu.

By all means, rest. While you're awake, sip- Don't drink- crushed ice and Coke Classic or ginger ale. Don't try to take too much at once: It will upset your stomach all over again, and you need to try to stay hydrated.

Don't worry about trying to eat today.

you might have the flu are a bug going around take some paracetamols are you could be pregnant...

If all you want to do is sleep, then that is what is best for you. Try taking some anit-nausea medicine..have your friend go get you some. Try sipping on some flat sprite or 7up. and if you can keep that down, you can try some chicken soup in a little bit. get some rest.

uh are you pregnant? and if you know you arent then you must just have the flu or something. so what you really need to do is stay hydrated since your throwing up a lot. so try your best to keep water down. and if you just keep throwing up the water then you need to see a doctor so you dont get dehydrated cuz that can be very bad. and your headache is probably caused by dehydration right now. so get well soon i hope i helped.

You could just be ill or getingg symptoms of the flu ..
maybe it would be a good idea too look a round on the internet e.g google or yahoo this and see if anyone else has/had this problem u could also try ringing your doctor and booking an opointment

It sounds like a stomach flu or virus. Just lay around and take it easy. There's a couple of variations of this flu. It can last for 24 hours and be gone or it can last a few days. I wouldn't eat quite yet. Make sure you stay hydrated though, having some tea or flat ginger ale (the bubbles can be more upsetting to your stomach). If you eat, stick to soup - preferably clear ones and not cream or tomato soups.
