stay calm and tell ur mom dont worry it will be annoying like you said its your first time so ur not used to the pad

I hate pad's so much. They are uncomfortable and messy.

Anyways.. if You don't want to use a tampon you are stuck with pads for a week everymonth!!
Don't be scared. they are really easy to use :)
Try different brands
It can sometimes take a few tries to find the right one.
Dont panic, and try not to think about it.
Pads are itchy and uncomfy at first, but trust me, you do get use to it.

tampons are sooooooooooooo much better than pads. i started using tampons on my second period and i was like why did i make myself soooo uncomfortable before!! congrats, btw
Give tampons a try. When I first started I wore a pad for the first day but it was so annoying that I asked my mom for a tampon and ever since then, tampons have been my friend
omg. tampons dont hurt. just stick em up there fast. they are so much better than pads aka diapers
