Question: Well Im 11 and I havent got my period yet. Most of my friends have. One of my friends says Im "Flat". I think I am too. Im not very tall eather.Only taller then a couple of my friends. Please help!

U r sooooo lucky I hate it so bad I got mine when I was 10!!!!!!! My mom was a late bloomer to she got hers when she was 17. Plz u may b flat but Jill Liv and I r just early bloomers I was the 1st in our class to get my period it doesn't really matter u may b the last but that's a plus no bloating, no cramps, no worrying if u have it or not, and no having to get bras fitted. U have it soooooooo lucky God has given u so much just trust in him and mayb this is 4 the best!
Nope you're not behind. I was flat when I was 11 and I didn't get my period until I was 13. Most 11 year olds I know are flat.

If your friends (who are 11) are getting their periods at 11, I feel sorry for them - really.
You may be behind but your only 11, still plenty of time. Just be patient.

oh hunni girls body develops differently!! u might get it anyime till u are 14-15 years old! don't worry! u are still young and u won't be "flat" u are just too young to worry about it!
no your not behind. most girls get their periods around 12. maybe your friends just got theirs early. and dont worry about boobs. their gonna grow after you get your period.
Don't rush it, everyone has their own biological clock. It wil happen when its time. Besides, after it comes, you'll wish you didn't have it ;-)
Everyone gets their period at different ages. I had a friend who didn't get hers until she was 16! It doesn't mean anything. :) You'll hit puberty when you're body's ready!
no, you're not. I didn't get mine until right around my 13th birthday. relax it'll come. it's not that great when it comes once a month anyhow.

Just tell your friends to stop being horrible and to grow up - they do need to realise that everybody develops at different times!

No, 11 is still too early, I would say anytime between ages 12-14 is the average to start your period.
You're not late. To be honest, most of your friends are probably early. I think most 11 year olds are flat too. I know I was.
Height-wise look at your parents and people around their age. I'm sure they'll all be different heights. Everyone's different.

Honey you are NOT allowed in here! There are a bunch of dangerous people in here. Do your parents know you're in here? And no your not behind. The reason for the young people starting their periods is all the hormones added to food. When I was young I started at 11and no one could believe I started so early.
you're just developing a little later in life. its completely normal :) you'll catch up soon! I promise.
Some people develop all at once (the height, the breasts, and periods) While others develop slowly over time, eventually catching up.

chill out silly.your not late.i believe i started getting my period when i was like 12ish.but your only 11 and being "flat" is not a big deal at that age.its actually normal.and even though your friends may be moving a little quicker...its okay.starting your period is not fun!dont worry you'll move along just fine.=]

Don't worry about your friends, you are an individual and there is no rule that says all the girls need to get their period at around the same time. Most girls in the US have menarche at ages between 9 to 15. Early menarche (first period) is associated with some cancers as well later in life, so it is not the best to have your period early.
Don't worry about growing up fast. You are a perfectly normal 11 year old young lady as far as I can tell.
Oh hunny dont worrie about being flat or ect. Don't think its all joyfull when u get ur period either. Because it Sucks . And im 15 and started at 11 so . yea.....
