Menstrual Cramp Help?!

Question: Whenever I get my peirod, which comes every two-three weeks, the cramping is really bad. I mean, I take something for it, and then it just comes back about an hour later. I try to exersize and blah! It just hurts. Please suggestions? I've tried mitol and that didn't to anything. I took it, nothing. took 2. Nothing. Took 3? Nothing. Took four! Nothing. I really want my peirod to cramping to stop. I have the cramping for eight days. Someties I even have cramping when a week BEFORE my peirod. So, in total? I'm cramping for about two weeks. it sucks too. I have my peirod for a week. Normal for 1 week. P.M.S.ing and cramping for a week. And then get my peirod for a week. Normal for 1 week. ect. It just...sucks! aND i CAN'T take birth control since it makes me gain weight. I can't be gaining any weight right now. I weight too much. Any help is great.

Severe period pains should always be investigated to check for a treatable cause. As a rough guide, if you've had severe period pain (known as dysmenorrhoea) since around the time your periods first started, it's less likely a particular cause will be found.

There are exceptions to this. Conditions such as endometriosis can sometimes cause severe pain from an early age (although the pain typically gets worse as the disease does more damage with each monthly cycle). Other causes include fibroids, pelvic inflammatory disease and sometimes a narrowing of the cervix. Bear in mind, though, that period pains are rarely a sign of disease, especially in younger women.

If the pain interferes with your life, preventing you from working, going to school or coping with daily tasks, I would recommend you consult with a doctor/gynaecologist for further evaluation.

Good luck :)

Well, how much salt are you consuming on a regular basis? If a lot, that could be to blame. You should eat fresh and organic, healthy food so that when this time comes around you still feel fresh and unbloated/crampy. One way to soothe the pain would be to relax in a warm bath. That helps me when its my time. Best of luck and God bless!

you should see a doctor there may be a reason or health condition causing the painful cramping such as endometriosis but im not a doctor , i have a sister that suffers from this disease. You should not take so many pain killers at once most of them do cause your blood to be come thin and that can start other problems, best advice see a doctor soon..

I think you might try going to the doctor for this. If you get extreme cramps they can help prescribe you something
