Is it possible for a tampon to fall out?!

Question: I noticed sometimes when I use tampons they don't stay in that well. They are in correctly as far as they need to be when I first get them in, but within a few hours they are falling out almost. I'm definitely not too loose... because the extra super tampons are almost impossible to get in, and if I do get them in they don't stay in.

Is this normal? Is this even possible with daily activities? Are there certain ways of sitting or moving that can prevent this?

a wide set vagina, maybe. Usually the vagina muscles hold the tampon in place, so that shouldn't happen. But switching to a higher absorbancy carries a higher risk of TSS. I would visit the doctor to ask about it. I wouldn't be so fond of switching to the supers if you don't need that much absorbancy.

good luck! :-)

of course just hope it dosn't happen to u it would be really imbarasing if it did

say you have a wide-set vagina or something like that, you shuld probably use a bigger tampon. if something like that is the case and it falls out, then y es its normal.

Consider swapping to pads. They are less likely to cause infections and you can get the type with sticky wings to stop movement.
(Far rom being too loose, you may be rather 'tight' and actually squeezing the tampon out when it gets lubricated, as you move and your muscles contract.)

Its better than them not being able to come out at all!LOL.It may be that their too small for your flow, and they fall out!But if the next size up is TOO big, then try playtex sport plastic,in a bigger size.It should be easier.Good Luck!

no its notnormal for any tampon to fall out. you may think its as high as it needs to be but your vagina walls put pressure on anything that is inserted and remains like that anytime. the tampons should not fall out.

I don't think it could fall out but it will shift out of place.Your body doesn't want it there.your muscles are contracting trying to expel it.I've been dealing with it for 16 years and it don't get any better. But the inconvenience is better than the alternative of a pad

you should switch to using pads.

OB is the shortest brand I know of. Try them. Search for that website for any freebies.
