Ever since i lost my virginity my period has been really bad...?!


Question: Ever since i lost my virginity my period has been really bad....it used to last 3-4 days but now it lasts 6-7 and the first few days my cramps are extremely painful but after the two days they are gone.....and the whole time i have my period it pretty much is really really heavy and i feel like i am peeing my pants all day....why is this? Is it from losing my virginity ?

This won't have anything to do with losing your virginity :)

Losing your virginity is not a biological process, in fact, it's just a mental one.

'Virginity' is socially constructed, it is not something that affects any processes in our body such as our periods.

As for your change in periods; it is very common for a womans periods to be irregular and change for the better or worse in the first 4 years of being on their period.

Even after that, you will experience varying periods.
If you find they are unbearable, i would advise going on a birth control pill, as this makes your periods lighter and you get virtually no pains.

I forgot what it was but, something can accidentally break during sexual intercourse, its sometimes said to be how you lose your virginity, and if that is the case iv heard you do have heavier periods, and if that is the case in your situation dont worry it should get less heavy as time passes.

having sex messes with your menstral cycle weather its when it comes or how long its stays ect. i kno mine was diff after
