Help for my sister?!
Question: Yup, I'm my little sister's confidant. Today she went to the bathroom and there was blood in her underwear. I told her it was her period. Then I checked my medical guide (uh huh. Paranoid me.) and it said she should have had a growth spurt, have really developed breasts, and gotten pubic/underarm hair by the time she got her period. At present, she's still flat. And she doesn't have pubic or underarm hair. She is twelve, going to be thirteen in May. Is this unhealthy or unnatural?

Your sister is lucky to have someone she trusts! All girls develop differently. It is ok to start your period first, the other stuff will come with time.

yeah its normal. i didnt have big boobs when i had my period, they grew AFTER.
she doesnt have to have boobs..i recently got mine and i am flat..its okay breasts tend to grow after the period
Don't worry it's different for everyone. I had all of those when I got my first period but alot of my friends didn't have all of them. It is NOT unhealthy or unnatural! :)
Everyone developes differently and at different rates. She is fine and will be OK. I think its great that you and your sister and so close and can talk to each other about hings like this.

everyone is different. i am completely flat, but i have had my period for almost a year. your sister is growing up! tell her i say congrats :]
