Very embarrassing question?!

Question: I sweat like CRAZY under my arms and I have tried everything short of surgery or perscription meds to try and fix it, but I have an important event in a couple of weeks and I don't want to be looking like the girl who just ran a marathon. I just don't know what to do. Can anyone with a similar problem help me out?

Drysol is an OTC anti-persperant that's really effective. Apply it every night before you go to bed for 1-2 weeks, just until it starts working and you stop sweating. Then you apply it once every two weeks after that. It's a quick fix and it works well. For long term of course, there is the surgery option where they snip a nerve. Another option is botox injections, but those are expensive and they don't last long so you end up needing a needle in your armpit 2-3 times a year.

See a doctor for better advice.

Here's another clue for a short term fix, try using a men's deodorant and see if that helps at all. They usually have stronger formulas.

Wash good and frequently...stop using deoderants and try talc powder or corn starch...if that helps it may be what you are using! Good Luck!

You might just need prescription deodorant, no biggy, its very common that store bought stuff doesn't work for everyone.

It may even be something you just have to go throught too, when I was going through puberty, nothing was working for me to stop sweating, but now im 21 and I rarely ever sweat.

I used to have this same problem and i found that CertainDri really worked! It's otc (i think) and u can get it at drug stores. Good luck

I have a friend that has a perspiration problem and she has to use that EXTRA prescriotion strenght deoderrant. She also puts a bit of toilet paper under here arms (but not alot because then it would look weird.) Also, I have heard of those strips of somthing I can't remeber that you put under your arms..
???Libby?
