Blood type o negative question?!

Question: I have a 4 yr old daughter, I go to school full time and work. I'm always on the go, but since I was younger I've always seem to be really tired. Does my blood type have anything to do with this?

Yeah. Iron may be a problem. Scientificaly, Type O Negative blood doesn't wouldn't have anything to do with that. So, I suggest you might get some rest or eat things with a lot of iron in it. I'm anemic because I get my peirod every two weeks. I felt like crap, sleepy and fatiged! But when I saw my docter and he took a blood test. My iron level was at the number: 2. Normal Iron levels are around 30 or 32. Good luck honey.

No. There is no affiliation.

no your blood type wouldn't have anything to do with it unless you have the Rf factor. You could have low blood iron.

I have O negative too and there times where I feel really really tired. Our blood type requires us to consume lean proteins and it always helps me with my low energy. Have you read 'Eating right for your blood type'? It has some interesting information.

I am O Negative also and have always been very energetic until recently. Your blood type is probably not the problem although you could be looking in the right place. You should tell your doctor you are concerned. It could be high or low blood pressure or anemia. Unfortunately it could also be something more serious and less manageable. I am 34 and have congestive heart failure and cardiomyopathy. My illness was brought on by Viral Spinal Meningitis and has been scary to say the least. In my treatment I have been startled to find heart attach and heart failure are the number one causes of death for women of all ages in the U.S. mainly because we tend to just think we're tired or tired or that we have a touch of flu! It's important that you don't right yourself off when it comes to your health. You have a child who needs you to be around and as healthy as possible. Go to your Doctor and get a check up.Make sure you express that this is not normal fatigue. It's typical that we want to be told we're fine so we don't insist on proper care. I hope all is well with you and it probably is, take it from me though, please, you are better off knowing for sure. Best of luck.
