My Tampon Won't Go In!!!?!

Question: I hate to sound graphic, but here it goes. So, I am 15 and still new to tampons (I just started today with Tampax Pearl Plastic, I finally got tired of the whole diaper feel of pads) I felt I was completely relaxed when I inserted it, but there was still part of the actual tampon hanging out of my you-know-what. I tried to push it up more with my finger, but it still wouldn't go up. I tried that 2 more times, with still no luck. Are tampons not for me? Any suggestions, please?

I was seventeen when i started using tampons and yes I agree with you about the nappy feeling. They are very hard to get use to you need to make sure your fully relaxed and read the information given in the packets. hope this helps.

Try making sure the applicator goes all the way in. Put your fingers at the tip of it, and push it in, until your fingers touch your skin. I hope that helps. =]

first i can give you the advice
that make sure its the right hole..lol
and make sure the aplicator is in as far as possible or else it wont go in all the way and be very uncomfortable..if still doesnt help maybe as a friend, or your mom?
hope helps
