What is the recovery time from a D&C?!
Question: My girlfriend is having one tomorrow. She will be getting a spinal for sedation and some valium in her IV. She has a 'mass'in her uterus about the size of a golf ball and the endometrium lining is 18mm thick (should be about 4mm thick.) We're hoping for the best of course, but I was just wondering if she'll be out of commission for a day or so? or a week or more. (Please keep her in your prayers that it isn't cancer.....thank you.)

She will be out for a few days. It all depends what they do in there after they get in there. She is going to be sore. She going to want to take it really easy
