yes, I've tried it, I don't think it is worth the money in there. yes I lost weight. the food wasn't that good and you still had to do a little preparation, at the time I was working and I didn't care about the price and they try to talk you in to buying other things, the sales pitch is really smooth. of everything I've done,"Weight Watchers ' is the very best and they encourage exercise.

diet and exericse is the best way to lose weight and keep it off...these fad systems help you lose wieght but as soon as you discontinue the product the wieght comes right back on

okay first! nutri system is overpriced and the food is BEYOND nasty!! =) what u need to do is find a diet that fits your weight and food needs then find a good gym membership (personal trainer like once a week) and u will lose much faster and CHEAPER!!!
good luck!

I use to work for a company that sold weight lose products and vitamins, we never sold nutri system, but i did get a customer who used it. She said it worked great for her, she lost a good amount of weight and she would of stayed on it, but it was just too expensive. I never asked her how much but i know u can find that out on the internet cause i think thats the only way u can buy it is by internet or over the phone, not is stores. I didnt ask her how it tasted or anything but she said for her it worked wonders, but everyone is different, specially the female body.

It's like $300 a month. I haven't tried it because I can't afford it but I did notice that when the commercials come on, there is small print at the bottom of the screen that says "results not typical". In other words, the people on the commercials probably also exercised their butts off because you'll notice that they have tight abs and those don't just appear out of nowhere. I'm sure you do lose weight on the program, but you won't lose as much as the people on the commercials do unless you really work out too. I'd love to try it but I don't think it's a good value.

This will not really answer your question, but I met the man that "invented" the program. It was kind of funny. He is older, balding, and more than a little overweight (as am I).

He was walking around his pretty exclusive neighboorhood in pajamas, slippers and a bathrobe.

tried something similar. It's not a normal way to eat and they really don't teach you how to eat in the real world. Gained it all back. Try exercise and lots of veggies and fruits.

my mothers friend tried it it sucks!! the food is disguisting and she didnt lose the weight!!

A close friend of mine has been doing the system for two months now. She has lost 22 lbs. and her b/f has lost more than 25. They really like it. She said that some of the meals are not good at all but some are not bad. They stick to the system pretty good; they eat a meal that is non-system maybe once a week but try and make it healthy.
The cost is 300/month. You get breakfasts, lunches, dinners and desserts for those thirty days. However, you still have to buy extras such as salad, fruit, drinks, and protein. It is a lot to pay upfront but if you tend to eat out a lot, it is probably cheaper in the long run.
I just tried some of the meals today. I found them at Big Lots. They ranged from $1 to $3 per meal but there was not a large selection. I am going to try other locactions to see if they have more choices. One of the meals I ate was okay, one was borderline bad, and one was just outright bad. Like I said, my friend said some are bad. I guess you just have to try different ones to see what you like.
Like everyone said, of course exercise is good, but sometimes we need that extra help and I think this helps with portion control as well as help you to not eat out and eat so many unhealthy foods.
