Trouble with orgasm?!

Question: I am a relatively healthy 18 year old female.

I've been reading that a significant number (maybe 30%?) of the female population can not have an orgasm through vaginal stimulation, and I appear to be one of them.

I have found my G-spot, as have the partners I've had in the past. I enjoy G-spot stimulation very much, but I still cannot have an orgasm from it. I am sad, and I feel like I am missing out.

Is there anything I can to make it easier to have a vaginal orgasm? I read that some women have this problem because there is thick tissue separating the vaginal wall from the nerve endings. Is there any way to wear it down?

You are correct that vaginal stimulation isn't enough for a select group of ladies out there. However, all that usually means is that clitoral stimulation is needed as well to reach orgasm. The amount of stimulation needed will vary from lady to lady.

I had this come up with a previous lover and found the following books to be very helpful for us both-

Lonnie G. Barbach's
For Yourself: The Fulfillment of Female Sexuality

Betty Dodson's
Sex for One: The Joy of Self-Loving

You can also check out Julia Heiman and Joseph LoPiccolo's book, Becoming Orgasmic: A Sexual and Personal Growth Program for Women.

One last recommendation is The Lowdown On Going Down, by Marie Desalle and Marcy Michaels. Perhaps it's not quite what you're after, but I still strongly recommend it! :-)
