Weight obsession?!

Question: Ive always felt quite a big girl, fluctuating somewhere between 10 and 10 and a half stone. im 5 ft 6 and according to bmi index this is normal.. but i still feel huge. most of my friends are 8 or 9 stone. im going on holiday with them in the summer, and i have become obsessed with trying to lose weight. whenever i eat something i know i shouldnt have i feel inconsolably guilty and sometimes make myself sick. i know this is wrong but its like an overwhelming need to. even though ive been eating well for a while now and excersizing, i still havent lost any weight. i cant stop thinking about it. help me please :(

you shouldn't worry about it! your weight is totally normal! i am about the same height but only weigh 7.5 - 8 stone and i always feel self conscious around my friends and they all weigh 10-11 stone! (which isn't heavy by the way its totally normal) =]
everyone is unique and has their own size- some people just naturally weigh less than others, you should try not to let it bother you.

you should try to be a bit less obsessive about losing weight as this could be worse for your health. also i would advise you not to make yourself sick as its going to make you feel so much worse and it probably wont make a huge difference. (i no because my friend went through the same thing!)

the only advise i can give u is keep eating healthily and maybe try doing a few sit ups before you go to sleep as this tightens your stomach muscles and will make you look really toned and in shape! my sister did it wen she wanted to loose weight (she was about the same weight and height as you) and she looks great!!

try to look at things more positively- your friends are going to love you no matter what you weigh so you should try to be happy with who you are and have a great time on holiday!!

hope this helped! if you need to ask anything else just send me a comment or email! =]

You might need counselling or medical treatment, if you have developed a full blown eating disorder.

One cupcake isn't going to matter in terms of your weight, so don't make yourself sick over one. In fact, I think a small treat once in awhile helps keep you honest on your diet.

You should exercise to feel good, and a fit body will just happen.

Of course, none of this is going to convince you if you have an eating disorder. So, seek professional care.

you need to take time .. don't obess your weight is fine.. if you want to lose some you do need determination.. have several smaller meals a day.. healthy ones with salads and fruit..instead of oversized meals...one portion...one helping of each....swimming and aerobics bring good results.. if you exercise it is better to stay motivated doing it in a group with others also you make new friends that way...
Don't make yourself sick.. bulemia is a bad disease and no solution..your monthly cycle and all would stop...you are still in puberty...you can't fail to lose weight if you drink water and tea...skip the sweet lemonades...and juices... and skip junk food and desserts.. Just allow yourself a treat once a week.. and have your favourite dessert...for the rest of the time eat a yoghourt or an apple or a banana...or pear..
Lemonade has about 18 spoonfuls of sugar..per bottle so does Coke...!!!
good luck..

If you don't feel normal with your weight you should really find out if it is healthy for you to loose more weight. if it is try counting your calories. I have and i've lost over 20lbs!
