Lactating? Please help.?!

Question: First of all let me say, I'm not pregnant.

But I have discovered that if I pinch my nipples, they will produce either a clear, or milky fluid.

I've gone to the doctor for breast pain that comes and goes during my cycle, and she told me that I have fibrocystic breasts.

Could it be that the lactation is going along with that?
Or that the pain is from something else and that's why i'm lactating.

I've heard about the cyst ordeal could cause that and is common, and may not be a very big deal, just monitor it.

However, medications (often ones for mental illness) can actually cause that, including over-stimulation of the nipple area.

Hm...maybe just try and call your doctor and ask them if that is a symptom??

It is normal to get a clear fluid with a slight odor or none when you squeeze the nipple. But if it look murky, discolored, or has a very strong odor you need to see a doctor, and don't wait.

I dont really know, but i only ever produced the clear milky fluid when i did become pregnant. Are you SURE your not pregnant.
Plus if the doctor wasnt really concerned i wouldnt worry.
