There are many creams on the market for this particular area(specially your vagina) I wouldn't suggest using just any ol lotion. Just do a search for it, or go to like Victoria Secrets, they might sell it.
For your underarms, I am not sure what to tell you, but I would use a deodorant for sensitive skin, especially after shaving.

I would stay away from regular body lotions, I made the mistake of using them once, and got really bad ingrown hairs(in my vaginal area) my OB told me never use regular lotion down there.

You need to buy a good shave gel meant for bikini or sensitive areas. And put plenty of lotion when youre done.

im guy when i shave my package going down to up i get that but when i go up to down i dont

you need a shaving cream for sensitive areas
and use lotion afterwards

I recommend using Venus breeze...but apply lotion afterwards

Use conditioner(yes, hair conditioner) as a shave cream....sounds silly but it keeps it nice and smooth...use a good-not el cheapo razor, and when your drying off and all done, slather vaseline on it..it will not hurt you in any way and it keeps it soft and smooth...GL :-)

stop shaving:)

try laser hair removal treatments or professional waxing. If you must shave use appropriate shaving creams, new blades, and shave in the direction of the hair growth. Oh, also after shaving you can apply products that actually soothe the area.. I think tendskin is one of the products on the market now... but you can check others....

make sure that the razor doesn't have blunt blades in it. and make sure that you have a sensitive skin type lotion and shaving cream. Also do you do it frequently or just when you notice that the hair is getting too long? If you do it frequently then your best bet is to just use the sensitive skin lotion and shaving cream. But if you don't do it frequently then you're going to need to so it won't itch as much. Good luck hun.

You could wax, or use that stuff from nair, where you put on gel that takes off the hair, and you just wash it off. Make sure that when you are shaving though, that you have that area wet, and you are using shaving cream. If the area is dry, it always causes razor burn. This might sound really gross, but, with the hair on your vagina, if it's really bushy, make sure to cut it with scissors before you shave, or else it will take wayyy longer, and make your razor dull :)

never shave the same place twice without reapplying shaving cream or what ever u use down there!

I shaved my ballz once cause i was bored and it itched like crazy!

I do too. Some people are just more prone to it. Try getting waxed instead. If that is not an option, make sure you are using plenty of shaving cream and shaving against the hair growth. I've found that pulling the skin taut also works well.
