This is completly normal and could be this way for your first few periods until your body gets everything flushed out that has been there for nine months of pregnancy. It happened to me for like three or four periods, my doctor told to me take some extra iron supplements so my levels wouldnt get too low and drain my energy.

If it were me, I would have never thought to ask millions of strangers on Yahoo answers. I would have called my ob/gyn.

That happened to me too and it was bright red. it seemed to fill the whole toilet. YUCK! I called my obgyn and they said it was normal. But you may want to call just to be safe. Good Luck!

Its probably normal. Call your doctor.

If you don't have money to pay for a doctor's visit, at least give him/her a call, and describe how many pad changes per hour. You have to take very good care of yourself now, since you are the primary carer of a baby.
