Would not taking b-control pills anymore help my anxiety and PMS?!

Question: I'm getting my yearly exam soon and I want to talk with my doc about my birth control and I want to be prepared to know what I'm talking about. I've been on the pill now for 15 years straight. I have some anxiety, tolerable so I don't take meds. But before my period WOW I get really anxious and irritable and hyper and everything. I'm hyper as it is. I always have been. I was just wondering if there is even a point in stopping birth control? Does it even have anything to do with anxiety or PMS symptoms?

Every woman I have known has had a craving for sweets around the time of her period. Mainly chocolate. I'm not really a bit fan of this sweet confection but every time I eat it, I get some sort of anxiety. Maybe not right away but defiantly the same night.

Try cutting out all the refined sugar from your life. Such as cookies, candies, cakes, & ice cream. And try snacking on natural sugars like fruit, nuts, & butter free popcorn.

Taking food with more protein & fiber should help too. There was a recent study conducted that says that women who get their daily fiber allowance are less likely to get breast cancer & actually weigh less.

Ive been dealing with anxiety for seven years now. Its not severe enough that I think I need to take pills. Although at times I wish I had an easy escape... Taking those bad sugars out of my life has really helped.

When you talk to your doctor she/he may prescribe a different birth control pill for you to try. You have to experiment to see which one is right for you.
