Would I be better off switching to pot?!

Question: Ok I am trying like h*ll to quit smoking swisher sweets, I am pregnant but I have been trying to quit for years and have not been able to. My dr recomended the patch but I had a severe allergic reaction and the gum/lozenges just don't work. One reason I am having a hard time quitting is I have severe anxiety disorder so whenever I am stressed I just automatically light up. I was reading how this woman did a long term study in south america on the effects of pot and pregnancy and there really wasn't much of an effect on the babies born to the pot smoking moms so would I be better off just to switch?

anytime your are smoking ANYTHING you run the risk of having a baby with low birth weight and possible lung complications.... I would suggest cutting back and replacing it as a stress reliever with something else say exercise or something...... gradually cutting back is your best bet....

Just do your best, get as much advice as possible on it all first, and remember answers here may be what you want to hear but not what you should hear, get proffessional help.
"there really wasn't MUCH of an effect" i think this statement shows you that you need to give up for your baby, stop telling yourself you cant and do it, for yourself, for your baby. att he end of the day its your own baby your putting at risk, surely thats enough of a reason to stop. dont switch...as hard as it may be giving up is your best option x
