PCOS? Help?!

Question: I was reading another person's question about PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome) and I took a quiz on it and there were 5 categories with 5 being the worse and I was in the 4th but the very end of the 4th, closer to 5 and now i'm scared. I just got my insurance dropped on the 31st of March so I probably won't be seeing a doctor for a while. Should I be concerned? Does anyone with experience with this/knows anything about it, anything at all will help! Thank you!

You better know more about your menstrual cycle (see in http://www.menstrual-cycle.info) because PCOS can be diagnosed only if you have:
1. oligomenorrhea (rare menstruations),
2. anovulatory cycles (absence of ovulation,
3. many/multiple small follicles in ovaries,
4. increased hair grow in "not feminine places" like face, breasts, etc.
5. infertility.
6. increased concentration of testosterone,
7. etc.,etc.,etc.

Well if it nothing to be scared about. I would suggest getting another insurance and going to a gyn and tell him/her your concerns about this. All they will do if you have no period is put you on birth control to regulate it.

Oh and hun you do not have to have all the symptoms of PCOS to have it. I have periods every 1-2 mouths and some extra hair thats about it.

Your vagina is going to fall off. sorry love.
