Use a condom for the first month, but after that you should be ok. The pill is effective after 2 weeks but i have found that when you have just started taking the pill you tend to forget it so i would use condoms just to be safe.

Doctors always say that it takes 30 days for the pill to take effect and to use other forms of protection until then.
