Along with other folks answers... Try applying Sudocrem - you will find it in the baby aisle at a supermarket or chemists - it is what the pharmacy will recommend as it is gentle enough to be used for babies.

could be piles

You could try using moist toilet wipes to clean yourself then apply some thing like Savlon cream to ease the soreness

Try taking an aspiran, tylanol, midol, or advil. Until then nothing to do.

I have had this, i finally had to go to the doctors, as i had all the red soreness coming around to my front. They gave me some cream that i have to put there.
When it is healed up i have to keep the tube of cream in the fridge, in case i need it again.

Heya Sweetie
It might be piles or it could be because you have strained to much is your poos to hard to pass? if so this could be the cause of your problems n sore bum, if not looks like piles it is treatable, dont worry go to your doctors and ask 2 see i female nurse hope everything goes ok!

best wishes.

Use the softest toilet paper you can find, also wet wipes intended for that use. I find that if I have more than one bowel movement in a day, then I can get sore from all the rubbing. Is there any sign of bleeding?

It sure sounds like you may have hemorrhoids. Get some moist wipes (sold by the toilet tissue) and clean real well with those. You could also get some Preparation H cream to soothe your irritated skin.

I swear by aloe vera loo roll as plain and coloured Loo roll can make you sore - moist wipes are also good. In any case use plain water and wash after you wipe - poo still has enzymes from your digestive system which will irritate your skin so any left on your skin will make this worse.

Try very hard to eat lots of fibre - baked beans, fruit, vegetables, wholemeal bread and pasta and brown rice - don't eat white bread, white rice - you will make your poo hard and lumpy which will tear your anus when you go to the loo and make it worse again. Salt baths at least once a day (just dissolve some table salt, a couple of handfuls in your bath) works wonders for sore 'fanny' areas. Dry your bum very gently with a soft flannel you keep for just this (you can hot wash it between times). You may have thrush - you can get canesten pessaries over the counter now. It works straight away. When you are sure your bum is really clean then use cream like zinc and castor oil cream. If you have got piles you will feel that there are swollen lumps or veins around the anus - you do need to see a Dr if so, just to check there isn't anything worse down there.

could be what is called anal fissure; slight cracks in the soft area around your anus,wash if you can don;t wipe;there is a cream called anusol you can get at any chemist try that .but go to see the doctor anyway,don;t use too strong a soap either that can cause irritation as well,ok?hope it clears up soon;

is it sore or is it more of an itch? The reason i ask is that if it's an itch it's because, you ain't cleaning properly. The itchiness is caused by pooh particles mixing with sweat particles. Or it could be WORMS! If it is worms drop some food down the loo and with a bit of luck they might all drop out for some lunch. If you are on(Time of month) they might enjoy a spot of bungee jumping. (Using the Tampon string). Talking of Tampons have you ever put one in your mouth. My God you get thirsty quick. You must be quick removing this Tampon as the Absorption could mean an even worse scenario visiting the A+E to have a tampon removed from your mouth than having a simple case of Worms. Hope this helps, my wife explained it all to me.

Hey, it could be a fungal infection, best to go see your doctor for an anti-fungal cream before the infection spreads!
