What is the brown stuff that comes out after you period?!

Question: right after my period I started to get this brown stuff that came out of my vagina.... I dont know what it is. I also have had a fever for about 2 days and a headach and a sore throat. I went to the doctors and he looked at my throat and figured out that it's just strep throat. Im still not sure i think it may be TSS. I dont know what else to do! =( If there is any advise you guys can give me that would be really apreciated... Thanks

Scared and unsure!

That is normal. It is only the older blood. If there is a smell that is normal too. I don't know how old you are, I'm thinking young, so please do not douche. Even most older woman do not have to douche. Some doctors (ob/gyn's) Gynecologists do like for you to douche. If you are young, please do not douche. Your body will get rid of all the old blood on it's own...

Your illness and discharge from your vagina are not related, one has nothing to do with the other. Okay...Please do not worry. It's fine...

that is pretty normal, it is just "old" blood

Usually the brown stuff, is just dried blood, it means your period has ended, and it's just gettin' rid of the rest

if you find out let me kno

its normal to have brownish discharge after your period...you need to go to walmart and buy a douch and use that too clean yourself out and the discharge will stop

If you take birth control (even if you don't) that could just be old blood that didn't get out last month. The doctor is probably right though about you having strep.

old, dried blood.

It is very normal it is just dry blood meaning your period is over.
