Dear Ladi,

Because you had just started the pill again and most especially because you missed one pill you may well have ovulated!. It really depends on the type of pill you are on and how your body responds to the hormones in your specific pill!. Sometimes it can take a woman up to three or four months before her fertility cycle gets back to normal even if she has normal periods after stopping the contraceptive pill!. It really depends on the individual!.

The majority of contraceptive pills depend on a constant dose of the pill to be active!. Even having an upset stomach or gastro attack can lead to you being fertile due to reduced or absent absorption of the pill if your body is of the type to be fertile almost immediately!. Effectiveness of contraceptive protection can also be significantly affected if you are taking certain types of antibiotics (see references)!.

If you are concerned about the chance that you might be pregnant then I would suggest that you see your General Practitioner to discuss this!. They can go over the whole chain of events and give you advice about what your options are!. They can also get you to take a blood test which is more accurate than store-bought pregnancy tests!.

I hope this helps!.

Its quite possible, especially considering you had sex twice, also depending on how old you are!.!.!.!. if your having ANY irregular symptoms, take a pregnancy test!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Apparently the pill become effective after one week of use, but if you missed two pills your chances of getting pregnant most likely went up!. Did you take an emergency contraceptive pill!? You night still have time!. Otherwise, you should probably see your doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sure you could!

Using birth control as prescribed is ONLY 99% effective!. If you miss pills/skip pills/use antibiotics/etc, that 99% is lessened!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
