Question: A little Gynecologist help!?
okay so my Gynecologist is female and all!.!.!.she checks me out every so often!. but i really really dont like the idea of having someone else look around me other than my boyfriend!. on top of that, the genecologist is looking at me like she wants to do it!. i dunno if she is lesbian or what, but when she looked at me the way she did today, im like "okay i realy dont feel comfortable here!. i want to go" she said "okay!. thats fine" and started rubbing my shoulders and my arms!. it was so creepy! should i report this, or do they all act this way or am i just a little jumpy for the fact someone else is!.!.!.um!.!.!. you know!.!.!.checking me!!! bah!!! advice please!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Maybe you're just being sensitive to the situation and that you're uncomfortable is making it worse!. If you're really worried, maybe say something if you go back to see her again but I'd be inclined to say she's just trying to do her job!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Just find another OBGYN!. Without proof you aren't going to get far!. Some doctors do things to try to make you feel comfortable because they know woman get nervous about this thing!. She probably doesn't have good people skills and is doing all the wrong things!. You shouldn't feel weird about having a doctor check you out!. It's what they went to school for and it's necessary for your health!. As long as it's a doctor checking you out for health reasons then don't feel bad about your boyfriend!. I also heard men doctors are gentler and better at this stuff than woman!. My mother and aunts only go to men while I personally don't feel comfortable for another man to be down there, I only go to women doctors when it comes to this stuff!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yea, I've had this sort of issue with female gynies before!. She was trying to be reassuring to you, by rubbing your arm!. I'm pretty sure she's not looking at you like she wants do you though!. Think about everything a gynecologist has to look at in a day!. Preggo women, ladies with sores, etc!. They have to try in concentrate and be professional about it!. No one likes having their stuff looked at!. Even when I went into labor with my first kid, I didn't like it, even though that's the point of focus for a few hours!. My suggestion is just try to relax and not make it such a personal thing about your gynie!. Your guy is not qualified to reconize signs of cancer or any other issues that may arise!. She's only there to do a job, better her than no one at all!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
