well I didn't see the need by I had mine so long ago, there were no options like a partial hysterectomy!. I have a friend who did that 8 years ago and loves it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Most people do find it pointless, that is why they get their tubes tied!. If you have any second thoughts about it, there are many ways you can get you period to not come as often!. You can go see your physician for more information!. Good Luck =DWww@Answer-Health@Com
I find it pointless!. I don't want children so far, but well, let's say, period doesn't give me any disadvantages, so I don't care too much!. Who knows if I might change my opinion later, but I suppose even if I should want a child, I would adopt one!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
True, periods can be a burden!. The only way to stop them completely is have your ovaries removed but you need them to stablize your hormones!. I had one taken when I had a hysterectomy!. I went thru some hormonal changes that first year!. Now, 8 yrs later, I am having problems with the remaining one and my doc put me on meds to stop my ovary from working and now at 37 I am going thru menopause!. And it much more hellish than a 4 days period!. So I just say to live with it becuz the alternative is hell!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I have six months ago when my child was born (c-section) i know what you mean but if you have ovaries removed (hysterectomy) then you have to start taking hormone tablets!. thats the only thing to stop your period!. you can still keep your ovaries but not a full hysterectomy but that is still an operation!. they should invent a tablet to stop the period!.!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Well if you have no periods you need to take hormones and if you do not take them your skin gets very dry, your moods swings have no release and you some how get nasty and angry most of the time,,,,,,,,,The menstruation altho very uncomfortable and annoying, it has a purpose,,,,,,
