Non-stop period while on the pill?!

Question: Non-stop period while on the pill!?
I have been bleeding almost constantly since November!. I saw an OB/GYN who ran a bunch of tests and thinks that I have PCOS so he scheduled me for an app't with a specialist on 4/28 but told me he's putting me on Yasmin until then to stop the bleeding!. He said after about 1 week the bleeding should stop!. It did stop for like 3 days and then it started again and has been bleeding ever since!. I talked to him again and he said to double up on pills on days I'm having breakthrough bleeding which I did a week and a half ago and it STILL won't stop! Has this ever happened to anyone else!? Is this normal to bleed while taking this much birth control!?!? I'm scared!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
I'm on Yasmin and have not had anything like this!. The best thing to do is get into the specialist and let them do their jobs!. It doesn't sound normal, but it could nothing to worry about!. I know I stress over my periods and bleeding being abnormal and then when I have my yearly checkout, everything is fine!. So try to not worry as much as possible!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
