Weird question but I want to know - hymen?!

I'm 14 and used a tampon for the first time two days ago!. When I was inserting the tampon I used a mirror because it was easier to see what I was doing!. I was about to insert a tampon before and held the mirror and noticed my vagina opening looked different - like there was no skin there kind of thing and it was just an opening now if that makes sense!. I was jsut wondering if my hymen had broken!? (Don't say even if your hymen has broken you'r still a virgin until you have sex etc as I already know all of that) Im just wondering if it sounds as if my hymen has broken!? And this may sound kind of disgusting but what does a hymen look like and does anyone know a website where I can see a diagram with the hymen included so I can compare!?

Im not worried I've broken it because I don't care too much - just curiosity taking over I guess!.
