Does anyone know the symptoms of ruptured ovarian cyst?!

Question: Does anyone know the symptoms of ruptured ovarian cyst!?
For the past few months, my stomache has been swelling up!. At first I thought it was just cause I was getting older(will be 30 this year), so I cut down on fatty foods, and increased my daily workouts, including running for my cardio!. The rest of my body is slimming down, but my stomache keeps getting bigger!. I ruled out pregnancy, and for the past few weeks, I have had severe pains in my stomche!. I went to my Dr!. and she basically told me I was getting fat, and prescribed me Pepcid for the pain!. Tuesday night the pain in my lower right abdomen was so severe I went to ER, thinking it might be appendicitis!. After a pelvic exam and an external and internal ultrasound, they diagnosed it as a ruptured cyst on my ovary!.I was given vicodin and sent home!. I wake upin the mornings and feel fine, but after eating even a few bites of anything, I swell up and look like I'm 5 months pregnant and my stomache is tender to touch!. Is this normal, or does it sound like something else!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
I had a ruptured cyst on my ovary and my doctor didnt just give me vicodin! There was so much blood and fluid in my abdomen from my erupted cyst that they had to drain it out!. They too thought it was apendicitis and did exploratory surgery and found a little apendicitis, but the main problem was my ovary!. I had a tube in my stomach for a whole day so all the blood and stuff could drain out!. But my stomach was getting really big too, as well as stomach pains!. So those are realy all the symptoms I know ofWww@Answer-Health@Com

I have had ruptured cysts in the past and they feel exactly like menstrual cramps but 10x worse!. I've never had to go to the ER!. I would suggest going back to the Dr!. and explaining that its not getting better and making sure she is more thorough with your exam!. When ever i have a ruptured cyst it was tender to touch my lower abdomen and i didn't eat very much but i cant remember ever bloating the way you're describing!. Try going back to the Dr's it never hurts to get a neither exam!. Good Luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
