i was going to a beach party and when i was there, my period started!. my friend gave me a tampon, i put it in with some struggle, and it worked!. i spent the night at her house, and the next morning when i got home, i took it out!. i went into my moms room to get another one and i have tried 6 times to get it in but it hurts!. i get it in, but there is still some cotton hanging out and i feel it when i walk around!. it hurts badly!. i tried to push it in with my fingers, but it wouldnt go anymore without pain!.!. HELP=]=] what should i do!. i dont want it to hurt to put in, but the websites i looked at gave me info, but i still cant get the full hang of it=[Www@Answer-Health@Com

make sure you used the same absorbency!. if your friend gave you a junior or regular and you are now trying to put in a super or a super plus it may not be as easy as the lowerabsorbency one!. and you should have changed your tampon more often than u didWww@Answer-Health@Com

Ok this happened to me!. I can not use the cardboard tampons the tampax pearl works the best with a plastic applicator!. For a plastic one just insert it as direction sayWww@Answer-Health@Com
girl tampons can cause a disease or something why dont you just be normal like other girls and use pads kotex thier the best do you want to have a weird disease and die or would you just use a pad and live a long life think about itWww@Answer-Health@Com

The first one was lubricated by your menstrual blood; your vagina is probably drier now!. Use some lubricant (KY is acceptable) to make it easier!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
you can too sleep with a tampon in!. if you can keep it in that long though, you need to get a lighter absorbancy!. use an applicator!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

personally, i think when inserting a tampon u are thinking about it too much and trying to rush to get it over with!. dont!. you just need to relax, if you are relaxed it goes in easily without pain i have never experienced any pain with them because of this!. also you are worrying too much you are thinking its going to hurt, again because you are thinking you know its going to hurt but please just relax ok!. the more you use them and the more you relax, the more u will get used to them and not worry at all!. btw, say youve attempted to put it in and you feel you have relaxed but it has hurt or u feel tense, take it out, breathe in breathe out and try again!. remember theres no rush!. relax!!!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com
