I know how you feel - periods are a right pain!!! I never want to do sports or anything when I'm on, cos I worry it will leak or I just don't feel great!.

I recommend wearing dark pants or shorts, that way you don't need to worry but you'll probably be fine anyway!. You say you've only recently started your periods, so they shouldn't be too heavy (they get heavier when you have had them a couple of years)!. If you're really worried, wear one of the chunky night pads- 'Always' does the best ones, they're quite thick for maximum comfort and peace of mind!

At the worst, you could wear a small pad and a small tampon, just to be sure!. Tampons may seem weird at first but once it is in, you'll find it works perfectly!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It could happen!. My best advise for you, is to wear a tampon, and a pad at the same time!. It helps!.:)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Heya

Erm!.!.!.!. To be honest i dont ever do p!.e or wear a pad so i couldnt tell you!. I think that wearing a tampon would be much better!. I would wear pants just in case!. =] xxxWww@Answer-Health@Com

Well!.!.!.first it could leak!. There's a 50/50 chance!. Wear shorts,a pad,and a tampon just in case!.

Best of luck !

well its a really a preference thing!. no it wont leak but there are some brands that are way better than others!. i suggest always with the wings!. they are the best!. tampons are my main preference and as far being ready i used them the 3 day of my first period!. they are cleaner and more effective!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I used pads and wore shorts and I never had a problem with the pad leaking!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

tampons are a lot easier and rarely leak!.
but since you only have pads this time, put a new one on right before gym and then change it after, if you need to!.
im guessing gym isnt longer than an hour, and pads last much longer than that!.

you'll be fine :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

I would wear lose fitting pants!.I would also suggest you get some ultra thin pads!.I use stayfree ultra thin with wings, they are very thin yet very absorbent!.And i havnt had a leak yet and Ive had my period for about 6 years now!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

this is what i do!.!.!.i wear a pad, and then a pair of compression shorts or softball sliding shorts then a pair of regular shorts, or sweat pants!. you shouldnt experience any leaks!. i play sports year round and my wearing compression shorts ive never had a leakWww@Answer-Health@Com

Stick with pads for now!. Tampons are for after you've had your period for a while!. Everyone is different, so there's really no telling if yours will be heavier or lighter tomorrow!. Generally, the 2nd day is the heaviest, but not for everyone!. Maxi pads are very thick, and a panty liner probably wouldn't be thick enough (those are usually for your very last day) I would try to get a medium thick pad with the weave!. (Always has really good ones that my teenage girls prefer) You'll be fine!. I know gym can suck during times like this, but the best thing to do is wear dark shorts or dark sweatpants until you're more comfortable with your periods and you have had a chance to see how your body is going to react to them!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sometimes they leak!. But the good news is, your flow will not increase - it should start to decrease soon!.

What I did before I started using tampons and I had to do a physical activity was wear spandex shorts underneath whatever else I was wearing, so that the pad was held tightly against my body!. That also gives you an extra layer, in case there is any leaking or accidents!. So, this way you could wear pants or shorts - whatever was more comfortable and weather-appropriate!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It shouldn't leak unless you position it a certain way!. Just be sure to not let it fall sideways or something!. If you have to use pads, use the ones with the sort of sticky texture!. It's not as comfortable, but it feels a lot less like a diaper than the soft ones!. It soaks up the blood a lot easier!. You should try tampons though!. They're easier!. But Don't count on a tampon to last 6/7 hours in school!. You'll have to change it near the end of the school day!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

since this is your first one, i would reccomend using the pads with wings =] sometimes the others may leak because they can move around!. and even another time, mine actually fell off and down my pants when i was running on a track!. i suggest the pads with wings or wear your regualr pads with really tight underwearWww@Answer-Health@Com

you should go to walmart and go get pads called" Kotex Ultra Compact Ultra Thin pads" they are sooo awesome they dont leak, they are sooo comfortable, plus they are folded really small so you can hold em in your hand or put them in the tinest purse!!! BUT GET THEM WITH WINGS!!!

Sometimes pads do leak with physical activity!. Since you don't have any tampons, I would suggest wearing two pads that day!. Bulky, I know, but it works!. Or an overnight pad because they are longer and they hold more!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you dont wear the bad duringWww@Answer-Health@Com
