My left breast hurts??!
Question: My left breast hurts!?!?
My left boob hurts really bad!.!.like this shooting pain and sometimes a dull pain!. My right breast doesn't hurt at all!. It's bothering me because someone said it may be breast cancer, which I think is untrue!. I was thinking it may just be growing pains!. BTW I'm 19 y!.o!. I was wondering what you think it may be!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I would go to the doctor!. My rule of thumb since I got so many weird odd ball things!. If it hurst longer than a week, go to the doctor!. I don't remember my boobs hurting when mine were growing!. Hope this helps!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
If you have ever had shingles then that could be the cause of it!. I had shingles once about 3 years ago and sometimes still get pain in my right breast because of it!. Shingles isn't only in your breasts, by the way!. That's just one place it could be!. It follows the paths of the nerves in your body!.
If you haven't had shingles before then I don't know why your breast is hurting!. It's probably not breast cancer though!. Do a google search on how to check for breast cancer, just to make sure!.

I am really not trying to scare you, but I come from a family with a long line of heart disease, including myself!. Talk to your Dr!. about the possibility of heart disease!. This disease is much more common in women than in men, and has no age limit!. It is also the #1 cause of death in women!. My cousin was 12 when she finally had a heart transplant after complications almost her whole life!. Your heart is located directly behind your left breast!. The pain from any kind of heart problem is felt in the left breast, and over time, spreads up into the left shoulder and down the left arm!. Please, talk to your Dr!!!! It could be a mastitis , infection, or it may be fibrocystic changes!. Cancer is unlikely especially at your age but if it stays the same or worsens then I would have it looked at by doctor!. Mastitis can be treated by antibiotics!. Fibrocystic changes can be helped by dietary changes!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
