Question: Ovaries hurt!?!?!?!?!? (Help!)!?
I am 20 years old and I am a virgin!. For the past few days I've been having pain in the pelvic region and right now it REALLY hurts right where I assume my ovaries are!. I have IBS but I don't think it's related!. I am due to come on my period in 5 days but these don't feel like the normal cramps I usually have (usually the cramps are right in the middle of my lower abdomen/pelvic region !.!.!.these are on the sides where I think the ovaries are)!. :( It's not HORRIBLE pain but its getting very annoying and I'm worried!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I had the same problem when i was like 12 or 13!. I'm 15 now going on 16 next month!. I'm a virgin also!. Are your periods regular or irregular!? Mine were irregular!. I would have like 3 periods a year!. I went to the doctor and they diagnosed me with Poly Cystic Syndrome!. They put me on birth control and now I have a period every month!. Maybe you have PCS or something similar!. Still I'll sometimes have a pain on or near my ovary area near my periods!. Check with your doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I often get pain near the ovaries!.!.!.!.!. It didnt happen before, but it does occur more since i turned 21!.!.!.!. Sometimes your uterus can turn and this also causes a weird pain!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
it is possible that your are ovulating!. I would get ovarian pain every other month as only one ovary would cause pain!. I would not be surprised if your period is a little of time this month and maybe next!.

It could be a cyst!. I get many of these (largest was 10x12!.5cm had to get surgery) and they don't exactly hurt but overall its a dull regional ache!. but then sometimes it gets bad and you get a little sick as if you had cramps only its sharp pain!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
