Question: Women on Birth Control Pills!!! I was late yesterday for my green reminder pill!!?
Im on ortho tri cyclen lo!.!.!.!.yesterday I was late for the green reminder pill for about 4hrs!.!.!.Am I still okay( still protected) I know the instrucions say to throw away the rest of the green pills and start the new pack!.!.!. but I dont want to do that b/c it will mess up my cycle!. so will I be ok!?or should I start the new pack!? also I've heard that some women dont even take the reminder pills they just throw them away and wait for the 7 days then start the new pack!.!.!. is that possible and yes they are taking the 28 days BC pills!.!.!.!. The reminder pills don't have hormones in them!. I don't take mine as it is not necessary to take them!. They are just there to remind you to take your pills regularly!. So, if you have taken all the the other pills correctly then you are still protected the week you take the reminder pills!. Don't start a new pack!. If you miss an active pill with hormones then it is time to worry, but reminder pills no worries :)Www@Answer-Health@Com
