Question: I started taking Ortho Evra Patch birthcontrol but!?
well i was using the patch for 2 weeks i took off the patch because i was having adverse side effects!.!.well how long will it take for my period to come!? some one told me it took them 2 weeks but is it usually that long!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

It has a much higher risk of causing a stroke than other birth control pills, that's why I got off of it, and I'm pretty sure the FDA said something about taking it off the market, cuz it has a realllyyy high dose of one of the hormones!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Oooh!.!.!.the patch is EVIL!. I tried it too, and restarted my period every week for 6 weeks because the hormones didn't last the full seven days!. Not to mention the chronic migraines and the fact that it was like an icky bandaid by the end of day 2!. It took me a full three months for my cycle to get back to normal!. But I was on it for a month and a half so it probably won't take as long for you since you were only on it for two weeks!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
