I have been very unsuccessful at finding a birth control pill that I can tolertate!. Prior to having my daughter I used to use the Nuva Ring and had no side effects!. But now, I have just started back on it again, and have been having some of the side effects that I did with the pill!. These include headaches, moodiness and being very emotional, and bleeding/spotting!. I bled the entire first month of using the ring!. I have never experienced that before! I was wondering if switching to the mini-pill, which has no estrogen might help!? I wasn't sure which hormone causes these side effets that I am experiencing!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Im not sure which hormone causes the side effects but I am on the mini pill!. I have never had children but have treid loads of different types of pills both combined and mini pill!. I had all kinds of problems with the combined!.!.!.!.!.moods, irregular bleeding, painful periods, discharge!. SO I switched to the mini pill, the 1st 2 i treid made me bleed all the time, the one im on now is a mini pill called femulen!. This one is totally fine!. I have had had no side effects what so ever and only one period but thats just coz I forgot to take it once!. It really is a case of trial and error, but personally, I much prefer the mini pill!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
