My tampon REALLY hurts!!!?!

Question: My tampon REALLY hurts!!!!?

it went in fine but when i moved it REALLY hurt, i took it out which hurt even more!!!

i knew it was going to be uncomfortable because i wasnt actually in my period!.

i had to practice though because i havent got my period in AGES and im going camping for two weeks in the summer so i will have to wear one then if i get my period as we will be doing loads of swimming and activity!.

i have a tight vagina but i dont think thats it!.

i wondered if i put it in wrong, i put it in so the tip was just out the hole (eeeeww, gross i know!)

what should i do!?!? any advice welcome!?!?

So here is some suggestions!.!.!. one buy tamps with an applicator, more easy than not for young girls to practice with!.!.!. also Buy the smallest size (regulars or lites) and just change them more frequently!.!.!.!. also dont try to put it in when your not on your period!.!.!. You are to dry and it will hurt both putting it in and pulling it out!.!.!.!.!. last suggestion!.!.!.!.!.!. when you are inserting it, lift one foot on a toilet seat and insert it in and back towards your back!.!.!. It isnt going to work if you try to insert it straight up!.!.!.!.!.!. and get the plastic applicator not the cardboard!.!.!.!.!. plastic is easier to insert!.!.!.!.

so this is in regards to your question about the string!.!.!.!. Think of your vagina as a balloon!.!.!. there is only one entrance so your tampon cannot get lost in there because there is no where for it to go!.!.!.!.!. worst case scenario if you were not able to find the string for some reason, you would simply use your fingers to gently pull the tampon out!.!. gross I know but better than scaring yourself in to believing a tampon is lost inside you!.!.!.!.!. also most women who have used a tampon have had to get it out themselves if they "lost" the string!.!.!.!.!.!. Your fine!.!.!. but quit sticking it in when you aren't on your period!.!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

maybe you were dry since your werent actually on your period, try againWww@Answer-Health@Com

Ew, no applicators!?

You need applicators!. It is 100x easier!. Go buy another pack!.

Then insert the tampon applicator all the way in and then push it in!. There will be a diagram in the box!.

If inserted corrected (dry or not, tight ******** or not) it SHOULDN'T hurt!.

Get 8$ and get to the store!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

o!.b!. tampons are small, have no applicator n are very effective!. never put 1 in dry- ouch!Www@Answer-Health@Com

try smaller narrower tamponsWww@Answer-Health@Com

Make sure the tampon is the right size for your flow and is not going in crooked!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You didn't put it in far enough!. None of it should be sticking out of you, only the string!. Use your finger to push it in as far as it will go!. If its in there correctly you shouldn't be able to feel it AT ALL, regardless if you are dry or not!. Be sure to relax when you're inserting it and removing it as well!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

if you've never used a tampon, I suggest getting the kind that have applicators!. They are a lot easier to use!. Make sure it is NOT sticking out, that's what makes it hurt!. Don't be afraid you're going too far in, if you have the applicator, it won't let you!. And if you take out a dry tampon, it always hurts!. if you put a tampon in correctly, you will not feel it!. It's like it's not even there!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well it really helps when u have an applicator soo u should get like tampax pearl or something!!! You are prolly not putting it in right or far enough in!.!.!. the thick part of the tampon should be at least 1 inch in there for it to feel comfortable!.!.!. but it should never hurt or feel weird once in!!
But relax and push it in at an angle!.!.!. it helps if u use just ur finger like in the bathtub or something and then kind of just feel around and give urself and idea of where the tampon really goes and then it helps once u put the tampon in ( i know it sounds weird but it works)
And it will kinda hurt taking out thefirst few times)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Okay, well it may have hurt you because you were not on your period + your insides were dry, so the tampon just sort of rubbed against your insides!.

but well done!! you got your first tampon in!! now when you're actually on your period, it'll be WAY easy!

i only use the ones with applicators because they are so simple!! i have tampax, and find them amazing!

just ask if you need anything else, and i hope i helped!
