Drug dealers often cut down the quanity of real (expensive) drugs with another substance that looks the same!. It's a way to increase their profits and make the drugs go further!. Sometimes the mix in something that really won't hurt the user (anymore than the drugs) and sometimes they mix in something that is potentially deadly, like drano!.
