Question: Discharge, no period yet! HELP!!?
Ok im 15 and i have never had my period yet!. im a virgin, 2 if that helps!. but lately(3-4 months) i have had a white thicker discharge!. Am I geting ready to have my period!?!.!.!.!. my mom told me she got hers when she was 12- 13!. PLZZ HELP 10 points best answer! thx!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I was 15 when I first got my period, so don't worry!.!. No, the discharge doesn't mean that you are getting ready to start!.
I had the same question when I was your age, and the doctor told me that it could be just the body's natural way of 'cleansing' and flushing out 'down there!.'
Now, it could also be a yeast infection- wearing tight undies/pants, keeping the area moist and warm breeds yeast, so if it becomes itchy or painful, have your mom get you to a doctor, or take that new test that will tell you if that's what it is!.

You're just ovulating!. Meaning don't have sex at that time in your period or you can get pregnant!. Even if the guy doesn't *** in you!.!.!.
Different girls ovulate at different times of their mestral cycle!.
If you don't like the discharge, then ask your mom to take you to a health clinic to get on birth control!.

It sounds like it!. Does your stomach look fatter!? Are your breasts a little tender!? Do you need to sleep more to feel more rested!? They are also signs of your period coming up!.
And if you want to avoid all those nasty cramps that comes with it, do not be tempted by cold temperature food products and drink lots of hot or lukewarm liquids!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You can have your normal discharge for weeks, months or years before getting your first period!. You also have to take into account your father's side of the family!. My mom didn't start until she was 17 or 18!. My sister and I both started at 13!.

Once you start puberty a white and/or clear, non-foul smelling discharge (mucous) is normal!. The vagina is self-cleaning!. You will also have your own 'scent' (musky) and it will smell stronger to you than to others!. This same discharge increases the closer you get to ovulation and when you are sexually aroused!. Trust me, you don't ever want it to go away!.

White: Thick, white discharge is common at the beginning and end of your cycle!. Normal white discharge is not accompanied by itching!. If itching is present, thick white discharge can indicate a yeast infection!.
Clear and stretchy: This is "fertile" mucous and means you are ovulating!.

your gonna get it super soon!!! i got mine three yrs before my mom!.!.!.!.but i know you want it and all!. but you dont!. i begged for it!. now im completely insane at that time!. i get it every 21 days!. so l!.ike i get off my period!. i start my pms!. then white discharge then period then pms then white then period!. ah it sucksWww@Answer-Health@Com
If the discharge doesn't stink that much, then you are probaly ovulating, a step towards you period!. I woud porbaly start carrying some pads or tampons around just in case!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
heyy yes you are its very possible but its also normal to have white discharge at your age and u will probally get it soon also your first year having it will not be on a monthly bases so dont worry when u miss it the first year unless u have sex well best of luck =)Www@Answer-Health@Com
it could be a yeast infection, from certain underwear!. or perhaps, it's the discharge of what's about to come!. i'm not sure!. i never had a discharge when i first started *it* it just came, & I wasn't sure what was going on!. just because your mom got hers when she was just 12 or 13 doesn't mean you are too!. my friend, got hers last year, and she's 20! her mom got hers when she was 14 yrs old!. see the difference!? it all depends!. you can talk to your doctor about this, and then he/she can find a gyno for you!.
is there a smell from the discharge!? if so, then it might be an infection!. not sure!.
