It took a long time for me!. Maybe a year, I think!. I suggest that you get off of it about 6 - 12 months before you would like to be pregnant!. But, every person is different!. So it is hard to say when you will conceive afterwards!. Good luck to you!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I was on the depo shot for about a year- as well on the pills on and off!.!.!. It took me about 2-3 months to conceive my second child!.!.!. You can get pregnant as soon as you stop birth control-then again every female is different!. The depo shot is the worst when it comes to trying to conceive after using it!. It can stall a womens cycle for up to 2!.5 years after just 2 doses!. Of course they don't tell you this at the time!. I recommend that you at least wait until you have regular periods before you try to conceive, just to make sure you're exact about the 1st day of your last menstrual period when you do conceive!.!.!. It'll be easier to determine how far long are you in your prenancy!.
