Question: Getting your breasts examined by the doctor!?
Ladies!.!.!.whenever you go see your general doctor or any other doctor or specialist!.!.!.!.do you get your breast examined by having the doctor feel for any lumps on you!? If so!.!.!.do you think generalists (doctors) can tell if the lumps are dangerous or not or would you need a specialist for that!? How often are we suppose to get it checked by the doctor!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

yes, my primary care doc and my GYN do a breast exam frequently- at LEAST annually!. They do this by manually feeling my breasts!. By simply feeling a lump in your breast they cannot tell if it is cancerous, but they can prescribe procedures to investigate!. Do breast exams every month on yourself!. Breasts naturally have lumps (glads and fibrous tissue) but anything that feels hard or immobile should be looked at!. If you find a lump, many times they are not cancerous, but you should still contact your doctor right away!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

A lump is a lump, you need a biopsy and or imaging to learn anything about it!.

once a year and i have my gyno check them and hopefully and generally they should be able to know and tell if their are lumps but noone no matter how high their qualification can tell if a lump on the breast is cancer or an infection or just a lump!. Tests need to be done to check for all that!.

I heard that is suggested that we examine our own breasts at least once a month!. It is also a good idea to have doctors examine them once a year!. Also depending how old you are and how high your percentage of getting breast cancer, you are suppose to get mamagrams between 1-5 years!. If something abnormal is found, a regular doctor can not determine if it is cancrious or malignant!. You would have to go to a specialist and have test taken!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
