Clotting with period?!
Question: Clotting with period!?
I have had spotting and slightly heavier bleeding for the past month, along with fatigue and even diahrrea (on occasion) and SEVERE cramps!. A few days ago, I started the iron pills for the first time in a few months, and started my REAL period, today I was supposed to be light, it started light and I just started the white pills today!. I was sitting down to eat and it felt like I suddenly lost control and peed my pants so I went to the bathroom and I had just passed a lump of blood about the size of a silver dollar!. I'm calmed down now but scared of sleeping and doing it again!. does anyone have any idea of what could cause it!? I am sexually active but we ALWAYS use condoms and I"m on Loestrin Fe!. I have been for 6 or 7 months now and this is the first time it really started messing with meWww@Answer-Health@Com

Clotting with your period is normal it happens to me all the time just the way you discribed too!. If you are on a pill that is supposed to make your periods lighter though you may want to go to the doctor and get your levels checked something may be off!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'd check with your doctor!. I have had the same thing happen while I was on Depo, when I was late for a shot!. It was chunky like that for about a day and was fine the next day!. But still, if you're freaked out, get checked out!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
